1. Listen to the beginning of the conversation and say what kind of text it is.

2. What words / questions do you expect to hear?

3. listen to the whole text  to check your answers:

4. sum up the situation Who/ where/ when / what...

5. work on the text:  Click here to see it and copy it on your copy-book. Don't forget to write the date. Find a title.

a. Listen again but this time, concentrate on the questions: say if the intonation is raising or falling.
b. Pay attention to the pauses. write one slash if the pause is short or 2 slashes if it is long.
c. Listen again and indicate the words that are the most stressed. Enlight them on your paper.

5. Now train yourself . Listen and repeat the text again and again until you memorize it. Respect the stressed words, the intonation and the pauses.

Si tu es le client, tu recevras une nouvelle identité et tu devras réserver une chambre d’hôtel en épelant ton nouveau nom.

Si tu es réceptionniste, il te faudra prendre sous la dictée le nom du client lorsqu’il va l’épeler.
